Becoming a Zero Project awardee is marked by a thorough international peer review journey. We want to manage your expectations and outline the timeline* of the #ZeroCall22. Please take note of the following tentative milestones:

May 2021: Call for Nominations open
June 2021: Call for Nominations close
September 2021: Awardee Notification

The impact of the Zero Project – become a member of our family!

The Essl Foundation and Fundación Descúbreme entered into a long-term partnership in 2019, which has expand the Zero Project mission of a world with zero barriers to the Spanish-speaking community worldwide. Among others, both foundations have joined forces to kickstart the Zero Project Impact-Transfer, the first program to support the internationalization of innovative disability solutions for a barrier-free world.

  • Coverage | Our awardees have enjoyed regional and international press coverage as a result of their award.
  • Feedback | We are research-driven; expect international peer-review for your project. 
  • Impact | Our awardees exemplify practices and policies that are replicable, scalable and have had a measurable impact in their communities. 
  • Invite | We convene our global Conference each year at the United Nations Office at Vienna. As an awardee you will be invited to interact with fellow disability inclusion champions.
  • Global access | Every nominee will be eligible to be considered for the Zero Project Impact-Transfer, the first program to support the internationalization of innovative disability solutions for a barrier-free world.
